Priyanka Chopra is having a party at her House for about 25-30 people at her residence on Election Day — April 30. The guestlist is still a work in progress. The party is in honour of Hollywood actor Gerald Butler, who is presently in the country.

The actress first met the actor, last seen in the action flick 300, in Dubai, at a party hosted by Shahrukh Khan in his suite at Atlantis The Palm. Butler is in the country on a back-packing trip with four of his friends, and last week, he caught up with PC in Jaipur, where she was shooting for What's Your Raashee?.

Last week, the actor who is single was quoted in a Delhi paper saying, "I'd love to date an Indian girl." When asked about his friendship with Chopra, he said, "I would've dated her but she has a boyfriend." The 'boyfriend' Shahid Kapoor will also be present at Piggy Chops newly done-up residence Raj Classic in Versova. This will finally put an end to the rumours of any romance between the B-Town belle and the Hollywood hottie.

The actress has been calling her friends and inviting them to her party, which will include the who's who of Hollywood. Butler will also be visiting his friends Shahrukh Khan and Gauri, while in the city.

Preparations are in progress at Priyanka's Versova house for a party, which she arranged for her Scottish friend and Hollywood actor Gerard Butler.

Recently, the couple spent some time together in Jaipur where the actress was shooting for Ashutosh Gowarikar's upcoming flick 'What's Your Rashee?'

Priyanka's has decided to throw a huge bash for Butler and his friends on Thursday, which is the election day in Mumbai.

A source close to Priyanka disclosed, "The party has been specially organized in honor of her videshi dost. As Butler is expected to leave the county on May 1 or 2, you could say this is his farewell party."

Her party's guest list comprises her friends from the film industry including Shahrukh and Gauri Khan, Hrithik and Sussanne, John and Bipasha, Abhishek and Aishwarya, Imran and Avantika, Karan Johar, Madhur Bhandarkar, Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder.

King Khan will fly down from South Africa, as he is keen on casting his vote. And, yes, there will be Shahid Kapur.

Priyanka, who has been linked with Gerard ever since she first bonded with him at the after-launch party of the Atlantis resort in Dubai last year.

Hollywood actor Gerard Butler showed his caring side yesterday as he treated the child stars of Slumdog Millionaire to a day out at an unnamed five star hotel.

The 300 star organised the jaunt for Rubina Ali Qureshi and Azhar Mohammed Ismail, who play the young Talika and Salim in the Oscar winning movie, as he toured India with a group of friends.

Butler, 39, first met the youngsters at the Oscars in February and has obviously taken a shine to them.

At one point the Scottish star lifted little Rubina up in the air so high that she could touch the ceiling of the hotel with her hand.
